Sharing traditional games

Prject ''New Generation Old Games'' is a great opportunity for our children to learn games of other cultures. It was possible thanks to our Erasmus+ and eTwinning project with partners from Turkey, Romania and Spain. In Latvia it is a tradition to play old generation games at cultural events and olstice festivals. It is also part of learning at local preschools to develop understanding of culture, to develop collaboration and creativity. 

During the project we realized that some games are very similar, just with a different name. It was fun to play them knowing that other children also play.

An interesting experience was playing together virtually - drawing on the same page. Unbelievable, but it is possible!

Teachers did a lot of planning and online meeting for this project to happen. Thank you to all the project participnats: children, parents and teachers! Let's play!
